This is book two in the Forever series by Priscilla West
The story picks up with Riley & Jax after the confrontation and beat down. Riley is miraculously able to get them back to the bus, Jax refusing to go to ER. He is rushed to the hospital the next night after collapsing on stage. Jax continues to be irresponsible and reckless as he struggles with the aftermath of the attack. Riley tries to be strong for him, but the tour is almost over, making her question if they will continue their relationship... especially when Jax seems to be hiding something from her. Riley is sent back to NYC single and heartbroken. Weeks go by. While hosting her friend's baby shower, Riley hears a guitar playing down on the street...
