This is book seven in the Black Knights series by Julie Ann Walker.
Carlos "Steady" Soto is ex Army Ranger, now member of BKI. Abby Thompson is the President's daughter. They met eight years ago in college, but due to a tragic loss haven't seen each other until he is sent to guard her. Steady never thought he was good enough for Abby. She never thought she had a chance with him. Trying to make it through the Malaysian jungle alive brings out many truths. Only her guilt (and the gunmen) may get in the way of their possible happily ever after...
The book keeps you on the edge of your seat, their inner dialogue hilarious, plenty of "damn, that's HOT!"
