With no preconceived notions about what to expect, I would describe this book as "long lost love". A young couple's relationship hopes are ruined when his mother and her father have a whirlwind romance, ending with an annulled one day marriage. Emerson disappears from Abby's life for eight years, reappearing from the elevator at her new job. Despite a few reservations in her mind, the love is stronger than ever, allowing their relationship to pick up right where it left off. HEA
