This novella introduces us to the characters in the Clipped Wings series. Tenley Page has just moved to Chicago and is studying Sociology at Northwestern. Since moving into her apartment, she has been spending time sitting on her windowsill. Across the street is Inked Armor, a tattoo shop, and in particular a dark haired sexy bad boy. Hayden Stryker is a tortured soul with a troubled past. He finds himself drawn to the timid girl who works in his aunt's store across the street from his business, where he works as a tattoo artist.
