Truly (New York, #1)Truly by Ruthie Knox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

This was such an entertaining book. Welcome to NYC May. She stabbed her NFL QB boyfriend in the hand with a shrimp fork after his horrible proposal. Broke up with him in a note she stuck to his refrigerator. Had her purse stolen by a man she thought was a security guard. Started walking until she discovered a Packer's bar (she is from Wisconsin), where she used her last five dollars to buy a beer.

Ben was at the bar and after many hours & her sad story later, he offers her a place to stay for the night so she can arrange her flight home. Next afternoon, after missing her flight, May is back with Ben and he offers her an interesting proposition. Spend a few extra days and let him show her how great NYC is.

Ben becomes the ultimate tour guide & host. May discovers that she is and can be more than she ever imagined. They get along get and bring out the best in each other, to the point of becoming intimate on her last night in the city. When morning comes, will they be able to let go? Road trips, lies, family drama, cold feet, denial & all around chaos ensues to make this a book you aren't likely to forget!
