This is the second book in the Extreme Risk series. Ash is a professional snowboarder and Olympic contender. An accident on the way to one of his competitions claims the lives of his parents and leaves his little brother paralyzed from the waist down. Seven months later, Ash is brother's guardian, struggling with himself, priorities and doing what he thinks is best for Logan. He has given up snowboarding, much to the dismay of Tansy, a Make A Wish representative who desperately wants to make a young boy's dying wish come true.

An emotional tale of two brothers learning how to be just that again; how something so small can mean the world to someone else; discovering who you are after spending most of your life just trying to stay alive; grabbing joy when you can without worrying about the "what if."
